What is this event about and how does it work? 
Geektrust is hosting a diversity event to exclusively hire women developers for 10+ open positions at Intuit India. You need to register and choose a date when you would like to receive the coding challenge. Solve the coding challenge. Once you clear the challenge and get a score ≥60, the Geektrust team will coordinate between you and Intuit to further process for interviews.

Who can participate in the event? What is the eligibility criteria?
You can see the JD for current openings here. Besides the automated-matching, there will be an additional round of manual screening of your code and resume before you proceed to interviews. You need to update your profile and upload your latest resume before Sunday, 31st October to qualify.
  

How does it work?

  • Register for the event and update your profile before 7th Nov.
  • You will receive emails with the next steps. Pick a convenient date when you would like to solve the coding challenge.
  • Submit code within 72 hours of receiving the challenge. You can submit code only once but you can test your code any number of times within 72 hours.
  • Once you clear the challenge and get shortlisted, the Geektrust team will coordinate between you and Intuit for the next steps and interviews.

Which coding challenge do I need to solve for this event?
A new coding challenge is being created in collaboration with Intuit’s requirements. This will be sent to you by email after you register and choose the date when you would like to receive the coding challenge. 

If you've solved a Geektrust challenge, should you still solve this challenge?
Yes. To participate in this event we will be releasing a new challenge which needs to be solved and submitted. This coding challenge is in collaboration with Intuit requirements.  

When is the code submission deadline?

The deadline is 72 hours after you get the challenge via email. When you get the confirmation mail, make sure you pick a date that is most convenient for you to spend time on solving the challenge. We will mail the challenge to you on your selected date at 10 AM.

Is there a score cut-off or minimum score I need to qualify for interviews?
Yes. You need to clear the coding challenge and get a score ≥60 to move to interviews. You can test your code any number of times within the 72 hours after the challenge is received. You can submit your challenge only once. 

What if my profile is not a match for Intuit?

How and where can I find the challenge?
You need to choose a date when you would like to receive the coding challenge. We will then email the new coding challenge to you. You have 72 hours to crack the challenge and submit your code from the time you get the email with the coding problem.                                    

What if my profile is not a match for Intuit?

When is the code submission deadline?
You need to solve the challenge within 72 hours after you have chosen the date to receive the challenge.

What will be the evaluation parameters?
Your code will be evaluated for parameters of clean code including OOPs, Readability, Build and Unit Tests. Read more about it here.

What happens after code submission?

Once you submit code, you will immediately get an evaluation and score unless your code is flagged for manual evaluation. The process is below:

  1. In case of manual evaluation, your code will be evaluated within 2-3 days.
  2. You will get an email with your evaluation score.
  3. To qualify for the interview, you need to get a score of at least 60.
  4. You can submit the challenge only once but you can test your code any number of times within 72 hours. 
  5. Once your code is cleared, our team will be in touch with you to schedule interviews with Intuit.
  6. In the event that your profile is not a match for openings at Intuit, we will send you other companies and opportunities that match your profile.
  7. You can directly proceed to interviews with these companies.

Is this for freshers?
The current openings at Intuit are for developers with 2+ years of experience. 

However, we have other openings and events for freshers. You can sign up, update your profile and solve any one of our coding challenges. You can also check whether there is a Fresher Exclusive event currently running. Check the Events link on the website header menu.

Why should I take up this Geektrust challenge?
A Geektrust coding challenge is like none other. Solving this one gets you noticed by the tech team at Intuit and gets your profile fast tracked. You will have only 2 rounds of interviews if you solve the challenge, if you do not you will not be considered for the interviews. In other modes of applications, your resume might get lost within the thousands of applications that Intuit gets from various avenues. Your code is the differentiator that makes your profile stand out.

Will Intuit give me another coding challenge after I get shortlisted?
No, you will not be given another code test or challenge by Intuit. In fact you reduce the number of rounds in the interview after you have submitted the challenge. 

What are the next steps and how soon can I expect the call/mail from Intuit, once I successfully submit the coding challenge?
If you have already cleared our coding challenge, we will be reaching out immediately to schedule interviews. The interviews will be from 31st October 2022 onwards.
