FAQ on React submissions

As of 28th Nov 2023, if you submit code using React, your code will be automatically evaluated by codu.ai!

What does this change mean for you?

Badges we evaluate

All frontend code submissions will now be evaluated only for 6 badges, unlike before:

    1. Readability
    2. Modularity
    3. Extensibility
    4. Correctness
    5. Mobile responsiveness
    6. Build

Readability, modularity and extensibility are advanced badges and together contribute to 60% of your score. Correctness and mobile responsiveness contribute to 30% of your score. Build contributes to 10% of your score.

Run tests to get feedback

You can now run tests on your react code! When you upload your code to Geektrust, run tests to see detailed feedback on what you've done well and where you can improve. Test as many times as you'd like before submitting.

Note: You have a few guidelines to comply with to make sure that your code is evaluated correctly. This can be found in the section titled 'Instructions to Pass Automated Correctness check'. Access the guidelines for the Admin UI coding challenge and the TeeRex coding challenge here.

Failing correctness check though the logic seems correct? You've probably not followed the instructions mentioned above. Read through them in detail and try again.

Submitting your code

Submit your code after testing it. Your react evaluation will be ready in 5-10 mins! If the automatic evaluation fails for any reason, your code will be sent for manual evaluation. This will then take 3-5 days. All other submissions (non-react) will continue to be manually evaluated, with results being sent to you in 3-5 days.
